BH PilatesBH Pilates is an exciting Pilates class for beginners and intermediate levels. As a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Becca modifies traditional Pilates to meet your exercise needs, ensuring you perform Pilates correctly and progress safely for a full body workout. Modified Pilates works on retaining and reconditioning the body from the central core to improve whole body strength, postural alignment, balance and mobility, as well as helping prevent injury and improve overall well-being. Bookham Tennis ClubBookham Tennis Club is a small friendly club providing social and competitive tennis. The Club is looking for new members of all ages and levels of ability and has Free Taster sessions on the first Sunday morning and Thursday evening of every month, to welcome anyone interested to have a game or two. Effingham Bridge ClubThe Club is a member of the English Bridge Union and participates in competitions organised by them along with its own competitions between club members. The Club welcomes visitors and non members seeking to play duplicate bridge, and can arrange partners for them if required. However, the Club does not cater for beginners. Fit 4 TapFit4Tap is the brand new Dance Fitness class that’s FUN & FUNKY!! With a combination of Fitness & Tap Dance. Sue has over 30 years dance experience in both performance and teaching. She is a qualified dancer in Tap, Modern Jazz, Ballet, National, Latin American & Ballroom. Inspired by the Dance Fitness movement, Sue saw an opportunity and with a burning desire to fuse Tap Dance and Fitness together. She founded and created ‘Fit4Tap’ in January 2015. Kuk Sool Won™ of Claygate and Great BookhamKuk Sool Won is the systematic study of all traditional martial arts and seeks to integrate and explore all aspects of the traditional Korean martial arts. As a martial arts system it can help to improve fitness, confidence and concentration, relieve stress, and teach self-defence, all of which are so important today. Chief Instructor, James Barker, is a 5th Degree Master and has been training in the art since 1992; he is also a fully qualified Secondary School Physical Education Teacher. Master James opened the first Kuk Sool Won school in Surrey in the summer of 2007 and now he and his team of Black Belt Instructors lead classes at the SPACE on Wednesday evenings in addition to their Claygate centre.
